Reports For Unlisted Bodies of Water From The Last 90 Days

A Report from donald  [dddman_99@yahoo.com]
for east pit lake

(dated 04-Sep-10)
really extream fishing at eastpit on saturday..water was a bit ruff at times but the trout just wouldn't stop biting. Landed a nice 5 pound rainbow. Been a good week of fishing for me. Eastpit is the best for big trout.

A Report from donald  [dddman_99@yahoo.com]
for hasse lake

(dated 30-Aug-10)
Went out and had a great day. Got a few perch and landed a nice 4 pound trout. I was the only person there to get a trout. Word has it that the pike are destroying the trout population at Hasse.

A Report from Shawn
for South Buck Lake

(dated 17-Aug-10)
14Aug2010: Went out for evening. 1 pike just under 63cm. Lots of perch sized walleye. 1 walleye keeper right @ 43cm. 1 medium sized bonus perch while trolling. Lots of other guys catching the small walleye.

A Report from Vincent  [FishinChris22@yahoo.com]
for Coal Lake

(dated 11-Aug-10)
Went there last week. Just green with algea. Caught a few pikes but only around 50cm. Not much biting. They were jumping and eating dragonflies which was funny :-)

A Report from Steve  [scubasteve_44@hotmail.com]
for North Sask River

(dated 01-Aug-10)
Pretty decent pickeral action considering the water clarity and high levels. Out at about 19:00 and caught a 5 pounder right quick (not long but very thick). Few more small ones, then a nice 4 pounder. Action died at about 21:30.

A Report from Shawn
for Devil's Lake

(dated 27-Jul-10)
Sat. 24Jul2010: Went out for evening trolling/jigging from 7:00Pm to 10:00Pm. Buddy caught a really small pike - that was it for bites/fish. Lots of boats with tubes/water ski's.

A Report from Dean  [dpilipchuk@hotmail.com]
for sylvan lake

(dated 25-Jul-10)
If anyone is looking for some amazing catch and release walleye fishing, sylvan is definitely the place. We have fished a number of different spots on the lake with all the same result - none stop action. Had a friend out from Edmonton yesterday and we caught at least 50 walleye in two hours. Nothing fancy - a white twister with minnows (we had two packs of minnows and ran out!) Definitely a place to take kids who are just getting started in fishing because there is no finesse work necessary.

not much going on at eastpit lately. Still manage to land several ok sized trouts but the action at eastpit has slown down alot compared to a month ago.

A Report from SHAWN
for

(dated 17-Jul-10)
Just wondering if all this rain was enough to bring the water level up on any of the trout ponds around Edmonton? Chickakoo / Sauer / Star / Muir ect. have been super low for a long time. Anyone been to any of these lakes lately?

A Report from Stoner  [dstoneblazer5@hotmail.com]
for Lac La Biche

(dated 12-Jul-10)
I will be spending next week at Lac La Biche and I am just asking for some local knowledge or advice. I know this lake has great fishing but it is huge and I dont know where to start. If anyone wants to share their hotspots or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A Report from Adam  [roof_n_guy@hotmail.com]
for North Sask near Devon

(dated 08-Jul-10)
I was on the river with a buddy canoeing towards Edmonton, when we saw what looked like three(3) submarines pushing wakes upstream, a foot in height! We paddled over top of them into about four feet deep of water, and looked down . To our complete amazement we saw they were white sturgeon, at least 5-8 feet long. Later on throughout the trip we saw dozens more in small groups, travelling upstream pushing massive wakes over a foot above the surface, and the fish were on the bottom, WOW! Every year the river reveals something amazing.

A Report from donald  [dddman_99@yahoo.com]
for 4 seasons park trout pond

(dated 04-Jul-10)
Fly fishing is starting to slow down a bit at 4seasons park, but still manage to land 3. ok sized trouts.

A Report from joe  [highwayman2009@hotmail.com]
for buck lake

(dated 03-Jul-10)
Anyone know where to find the perch at Buck lake?(sw of Breton)

A Report from donald  [dddman_99@yahoo.com]
for east pit lake

(dated 27-Jun-10)
I am sad to say "I GOT SKUNKED". For the first time in a very very long time I got skunked at eastpit. Very low water level and the water is extremely warm so the fish are not very active right now.

A Report from Perry  [xtrgoodguy@hotmail.com]
for N. sask, Pembina

(dated 22-Jun-10)
This is for mike and the North Sask. Clover bar dirt pit is very close to the water plant on the Sherwood Park side of the river. If you can make your way down past the old city police gun range, you found the spot. Once you're down at the river I have found that fishing under the power lines that cross the river is a good spot on both sides of the river( north side is in hermitage park). I have caught walleye, pike, sauger, goldeye, mooneye, and a 25lb sturgeon from that area. This is for Nick, The pembina is a great fishery. I have had luck from cherhill, all the way up to fawcett. I really like the Dapp area by the bridge. We have caught many speices there and very large. Watch out for the black bear that lives in the area, last year she had 2 cubs with her. This year they would still be with mama but would look almost full grown. Good luck, tight lines and big smiles:)

A Report from flyfish
for Cardiff

(dated 22-Jun-10)
Caught lots of smaller fish at cardiff already and just caught a nice 14inch rainbow that weighted about 4 pounds there.

A Report from donald  [dddman_99@yahoo.com]
for east pit lake

(dated 15-Jun-10)
I said it before and i'll say it again. EASTPIT IS THE BEST. Full of good trout. Very clear and clean water. Very quiet location and no perch. Just big trout and lots of them.

A Report from Nick  [horobetz.mykola@gmail.com]
for Pembina

(dated 15-Jun-10)
Question for Tim about fishing the Pembina River. Other than Entwistle, where can you access the river, to fish for Walleye?

A Report from fishinisfun  [treis_18@hotmail.com]

A Report from donald  [dddman_99@yahoo.com]

Flyfishing at 4seasons this year is not that BAD. Compared to last year, got 15 in 2 hours.
